My Momma Bear Chair

Bill and I were at the DI and found this great wing back chair for a measly $15. It was in terrific shape. So we put it in the truck and stopped at the fabric store on the way home.
I had seen shows on how to do this. If they can, so can I! So I dove right in.
I took off the material, piece by piece. And set it aside if I needed a template for anything.
I got a great staple gun, a good pair of scissors, and got to work.
I wish I could find all the pictures for the in between work.
It's looking pretty good.
I love my chair!
I am a vertically challenged person. This chair is perfect for me. I don't feel like Lilly Tomlin sitting in that huge over sized rocking chair. (Have I now dated myself?)
This really wasn't that hard. Just some persistence, and patience.

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog.
I never thought I would ever say that. I enjoy other peoples blogs. Why would I want one for my self? I see so many crafty things that other people do. And from time to time I actually have a crafty thought. And it usually starts off with "What if I ...?".
So here are a few "What if I...?" things I've done in the past few years. No, this isn't everything. Just my favorites. Luckily I have a husband that listens to my mind ramblings, and usually loves my ideas, and wants to help me make them a reality.
